We've been absolutely swamped with wedding planning and college midterms so Ryan and I had to celebrate our Valentine's day on the weekend rather than the 14th. I've never had any type of relationship or anything close to it for Valentine's day so I was ecstatic to have my fiance for my valentine this year! In fact, 2 years ago my group of friends and I were all single and slightly dramatic. We made a dinner of breakfast foods and sat around with sparkling cider giving toasts to one another and finding reasons why we were in fact 'too good' to be in relationships... Fortunately, I've gown out of this phase and feel blessed to be in a relationship with Ryan.
To celebrate the Day of Love, Ryan and I went to my favorite restaurant in Salt Lake called The Five Alls with my sister, Paige, and her husband, Eric. I got the chicken kiev and Ryan got the Filet Oscar--seriously, the steak melted in your mouth. mmm.

Afterwards, we went to the Capital Theater to watch Ballet West's production of Sleeping Beauty. Wow. It was amazing. It made me miss dancing so much! The ballerinas were so graceful and the costumes and sets were phenomenal! Hopefully, we'll be able to go to more ballets in the future cause I'm dying to see Swan Lake and Coppelia.
